Exchange Team Away day used iPads to engage with strategy

On the 11th November 2015, the Teaching and Learning Exchange held our first away day. This brought together colleagues who work in technology enhanced learning, careers and employability and teaching development.

It was a great opportunity to identify shared interests and to plan ways that the exchange team can work more closely together.

Our central focus was the Learning, Teaching and Enhancement strategy and over the course of the day we worked on making clear the contribution the Exchange can make to transformative education at UAL.

As the images here convey, this was a day for us to engage with the strategy and exchange ideas in a creative way.  Andy Lee from LCF gave us a crash course in video production using iPads, and set us the challenge of working in groups to make a short film in just 45 minutes.

The brief was to set out and convey our plans to make sure the Exchange is at the heart of improving the student experience at UAL. Each team approached the task in a unique way, and there was a shared sense that taking a hands-on, creative approach to the strategy was helpful for understanding how we can work together to deliver it as a team.
