Digital Learning staff development in March 2021

We are pleased to share our upcoming staff development sessions that are open to all UAL staff across all colleges and departments. All sessions will be hosted online.

We have 3 new sessions about educational video, the online learning experience and Blackboard Ally, a new study and accessibility tool that will become available for staff and students in May.

Your college may also have additional sessions available to you that you can find on ESS. Contact your college’s Digital Learning team if you have any questions on those.

Accessibility

If you require captions or other support, please contact Digital Learning through MySupport when you register or at least 3 business days before your session.

How to sign up:

1. Select the session title to go to the ESS sign-up page.
2. Log-in to ESS
3. Select the session time you want to join.
4. Within 2 business days after signing up, we will send you an Outlook calendar invitation with the details to join the session.

Cancellation:

If you book a session and later need to cancel, please decline the Outlook invitation and cancel your booking in ESS. Cancelling your booking in ESS will allow other colleagues to book in your place.

If you attend the session, you may request that session’s recording from the presenter. As spaces are limited, please do not book a session that you are unable to join in real time just to request a recording.

If you are unable to join in real-time, you can browse the self-paced development library on Canvas (UAL staff login required).
